Gulf BMW’s David Johnson bagged the fastest Superstock time in Thursday’s qualifying session with a flying lap of 129.202.
The Australian started the session with a 125.677 from a standing start but the upped his game to finish seven seconds ahead of Peter Hickman, who put in a 128.381 from a standing start.
Dean Harrison, who also only did a single lap, ended in third on a 128.246 with Michael Dunlop in fourth on a 128.012. Shaun Anderson completed the top five with a 126.990 with Ian Hutchinson sixth.
In the Supersport class, Ivan Lintin led the way on a 123.222 just ahead of Jamie Coward and Lee Johnston. Dominic Herbertson is fourth with Josh Brookes fifth.
