TT2009: DONALD SIDELINED FOR REST OF TT

Relentless Suzuki's Cameron Donald is out of the rest this week's TT races following a crash at Keppel Gate last night just 24 hours after he became the fastest man on the Island saw him airlifted to hospital.

Fortunately, Donald only dislocated his shouler and suffered a minor back injury in the accident which was caused by the Aussie missing a gear which forcws him to run wide onto the grass. Donald did his best to stay on-board but eventually crashed on the uneven surface. He is expected to leave Nobles Hospital this afternoon.

"After such a great night on Thursday, when Cameron recorded his 131mph lap, we've certainly been brought down to earth with his incident tonight. Thankfully Cameron wasn't seriously injured but is obviously disappointed to be out of this year's TT," said team boss Philip Neill.

"Bruce Anstey has also had a phenomenal practice week on his stable of GSX-R machinery and is quietly confident of adding to his TT tally. We will continue to give Bruce everything he needs, and hopefully our close-knit team can put a smile on Cameron's face with a Relentless Suzuki win."
