Tyco BMW ‘feels superb’ says Hutchinson after Cartagena test

Tyco BMW’s roads ace Ian Hutchinson is well prepared for his roads season after completing a four-day test on the S1000RR at Cartagena in Spain, saying both the Superstock and Superbikes feel suberb.

The Bingley rider, who is looking to add to his tally of TT wins this season, was on track with team-mates Michael Laverty, Christian Iddon and Josh Elliott and will now move on to an official BMW Motorrad test at Almneria.

“We are obviously working from scratch to get the bike to suit my style but immediately the chassis feels superb. I thought the Superstock bike was impressive – and it is – but I was itching to get on the Superbike and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed. It’s starting to really feel like my own bike already after just a couple of sessions, which is testament to the work the team has put in behind the scenes and also here in Spain,” said Hutchinson.
