Ryan Farquhar took an expected pole position in this afternoon's qualifying for the Ulster GP Supertwins class with the KMR Kawasaki rider lapping at 116.010mph in the shortened session. That gave him a 3.3s advantage over Olie Linsdell who lapped at 114.334mph whilst Farquhar's protege and team-mate Jamie Hamilton took third at 113.732mph.
Adrian Archibald, William Davison and Ryan Kneen were close behind with all three lapping at over 113mph and it was Lee Vernon, Ivan Lintin, Russ Mountford and Ben Wylie who completed the top ten.
In the concurrently run 250cc session, it was Davy Morgan who set the fastest time, his lap of 112.981mph edging out Rob Barber for pole position by just one tenth of a second. Seamus Elliott, Paul Robinson and Kevin Strowger also lapped in excess of 110mph whilst German newcomer Wolfgang Schuster took sixth with a lap of 109.818mph.
