The bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team will be back on track this week for a two-day test at the Circuito de Jerez - Angel Nieto.
After featuring on the podium in all three races at the French World Superbike Round, Alex Lowes will be back on track this week for a two-day test.
The bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team will participate in two days of testing at the Circuito de Jerez - Angel Nieto on the 16th and 17th of September.
This will be the team's final 'in-season' test before the final three rounds of the 2025 World Superbike Championship at MotorLand Aragon, Estoril, and Jerez.
At the Jerez Test, the bimota Test Rider, Xavi Fores, will complete the first day of testing on the 16th, before Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani take over on the 17th.
"The test at Jerez will be important as it’s a good chance for us to try our bike the way it is now compared to the winter tests," Lowes said ahead of the test.
"Of course, the track conditions will be different from our previous Jerez tests. Our target will be to confirm our new base setting on the bike and, obviously, see if we can find any improvements that could help us for the final three race weekends.
"It’s always fun to test at Jerez, so I’m excited to get a good day’s work done with the crew."
Throughout his debut season on the KB998 Rimini, Lowes has featured on four World Superbike podiums and finds himself in seventh place in the Championship standings.
