MSS Colchester Kawasaki's Simon Andrews has confirmed he will be a wildcard rider at the upcoming Donington Park World Superbike round in just over a week's time, joining the Airwaves Yamaha riders Leon Camier and James Ellison.
Andrews, who has been a regular front runner in British Superbikes this year, will go up against the best Superbike riders in the world at a track he rates highly and is up for the challenge.
"It's going to be a good weekend and we will show everyone what we can do as a team," said Andrews, speaking to bikesportnews.com from under his duvet this morning.
"The fastest lap set last year was slower than I did at Donington earlier this year so we should be there or thereabouts in terms of pace right from the start. We need to get some good results at Snetterton this weekend and go there on a high. I am looking forward to the scrap!"
