Sterilgarda Ducati's Max Biaggi could well find himself without a ride for the 2009 World Superbike season despite the fact he has behaved himself and been nice to people all year.

Superstock rider Alex Polita has taken one of the Sterilgarda seats and it is thought the other has been snaffled by former British Superbike Champion Gregorio Lavilla.

Current team-mate Ruben Xaus is off to BMW and there is some speculation that, because Tom Sykes is now a Santander Yamaha rider, Corser will remain in the team on a one-year deal. Apparently Juan Lascorz is in the frame for the other bike. No, really...
