ASSEN WSB: HILL KEEPING FINGERS CROSSED

Althea Honda's Tommy Hill reckons he is keeping his fingers crossed for a good result at the Assen World Superbike round this weekend despite missing the recent test session at Monza because of a cold.

The British youngster, who is still struggling with massive chatter problems on his Fireblade, will be looking to make it into Superpole again on Saturday on a track at which he has never raced.

“This will be the first time for me at Assen, so again it’s another circuit I need  to learn fast. It's a shame we did not get to test in Monza, as it would of been nice to get some more setup time," said Hill.

"As we’re now at the fourth round of the world championship, I have my fingers crossed for better results, and hope to gain more points than the previous rounds.”
