British race fans look set to go another year without World Superbikes at its spiritual home of Brands Hatch as the Kent track is not on the provisional calendar, released today by the FIM.
Bosses at Motorsport Vision failed to agree terms to keep World Superbikes at the circuit this season but put on a huge extravaganza in order to make up for it. It looks like the situation is the same again for 2010.
The schedule is similar to this season except the Qatar round has been canned and the Portugese round at Portimao is now at the end of March instead of October. The Imola round is subject to the track being homologated, and the Valencia is yet to be confirmed.
