BRNO WSB: BAYLISS DOES THE DOUBLE

Troy Bayliss has taken the World Superbike Championship double win at Brno this afternoon in a carbon copy of this morning's first race, beating team-mate Michel Fabrizio and Max Biaggi.
In what was a fairly predictable and pedestrian encounter, no-one could do anything about the Xerox Ducati man's race pace and it wasn't until three laps from the end until something happened.
Max Biaggi went past the Yamaha of Corser and the pair then battled, swapping places four times in one lap while Bayliss' team Michel Fabrizio took advantage and reeled them in.
With two laps to go, Corser looked to be losing grip while Biaggi Sterilgarda Ducati looked to be on rails. Fabrizio made his move halfway through the penultimate lap but Corser was having none of it. He got back past the Italian but Fabrizio looked to have a grip advantage and manage to take third.
Fabrizio then set about Biaggi, trying to make it a Xerox Ducati one-two and stuffed it under Biaggi with three corners to go. Biaggi tried to put it back under him on the second from last corner, but ran wide allowing Fabrizio to come back and take second and make it an all-Ducati podium.
