Sterilgarda Yamaha's Tom Sykes reckons he is now happy with the setup of his R1 after the tests at Imola and says he thinks he now has the package to run at the front of the field.
Sykes has shown flashes of his form this year but has been outshone by team-mate, and fellow WSB rookie, Ben Spies. The Huddersfiel rider is going to use the base settings from Imola which he is happy with.
“I’m really looking forward to showing some more of my recent pace. I’ve been getting faster and faster all year as we’ve resolved some issues with the set up and now I feel we’ve got a package I can use to challenge and stay with the front pack. I haven’t ridden Brno before but I think we can pick it up quickly on Friday and get cracking on the bike set up," said Sykes.
