Former MotoGP star Leon Camier will return to the World Superbike Championship in 2015 after signing a two-year deal to ride with the factory MV Agusta team.
Camier had been exploring options in MotoGP but wasn’t able to find the right package after effectively being told by the Aspar Honda squad he was too tall for their bike - Loris Baz suffered the same treatment.
The ex-BSB champion rode for MV as a stand-in at the Laguna Seca round this year and that experience taught him the 1000cc F4RR was a bike that had a lot of potential. Camier is expected to test at Jerez today.
