Britain’s Leon Camier is in discussion with Honda for a ride at the 2018 Suzuka Eight-Hours but it depends on his fitness and the WorldSBK schedule.
Camier is still in some discomfort from the Aragon crash which saw him get run over and an opportunity to take a place in the works team - reportedly turned down by Cal Crutchlow - is dependant on his recovery.
“There are discussions at the moment but nothing finalised. It’s a hard thing for us because all the testing does not fit into our schedule at all. The race does, though,” said Camier, speaking at the Donington WorldSBK round.
“If I am fit enough yes, but the body is the one thing that we have to consider.”
