Britain’s Leon Camier is currently on a plane to the Laguna Seca World Superbike round where he will stand in for Claudio Corti on the Mv Agusta.
Corti crashed heavily at Portimao and was taken to hospital for checks. He was ruled out of both race and is unable to take part in this weekend’s California action.
Camier has ridden in WSBK this year, standing in for Sylvain Barrier on the BMW Evo and he remains reserve rider for the Aspar Honda MotoGP team.
