Cash-strapped former Moto3 front-runner Danny Webb has appealed to the racing public for help to him fund a World Supersport ride in 2015.
The Kent youngsteris joining forces with British team CIA Insurance Honda, operated by PTR, and is asking the fans for £20 each to help get him on the World Supersport grid next season.
“It is incredibly tough to get anywhere in racing without money. I am asking all my Twitter and Facebook friends to sponsor me. I’m asking them to get their Twitter and Facebook contacts plus family and friends involved too,” said Webb.
“And I really do mean you’ll be part of the team. I’m talking name on the garage boards and exclusive benefits all season long. If I get on the Championship podium – which is a realistic goal – then I’m going to throw a party and all my supporters will be invited and I’ll be buying the first drinks as a big thank you.

1: £20 gets your name on the team garage boards and website as a sponsor; and a signed poster from Danny (personalised if wished). If Danny makes it to the top 3 in the Championship then all sponsors will be invited to an exclusive end of season party to meet Danny and team with the first drink already bought as a thank you. On top of this you’ll get exclusive race previews, practice, qualifying and race day news, videos and top quality pictures. There will also be exclusive events through the year that you can attend - such as workshop tours hosted by Danny himself (first one scheduled for 20th December at the team workshop in Louth, Lincolnshire).
2: £40 gets all of the above and an exclusive not for sale anywhere else Danny Webb Team T-shirt. If you want it signed, no problem – you are the sponsor!
3: £200 gets you all of the above and two paddock passes to the British WSB round at Donington Park. You’ll be given a pit/garage tour by Danny himself and have enough time to ask any questions/get autographs and pictures that you like. A cup of tea or coffee made by Danny (or possibly a team member) will seal an unforgettable day where you really will be part of the team for the day.
