Ten Kate Honda will field three riders in World Superbikes after Carlos Checa finally signed on the dotted line last night.

The former MotoGP rider joins Jonathan Rea and Ryuichi Kiyonari on the Fireblades with Kenan Sofuoglu going back to the Supersport class for 2009.

Andrew Pitt is considering an option with Sterilgarda Ducati, as is Shane Byrne to be Alex Polita's team-mate next year.
