BMW's Troy Corser has said he would be in full support of a qualifying tyre ban in World Superbikes if organisers InFront decide to make adjustments to the new Superpole format.
The veteran Aussie, who has struggled with the three-tier format where riders only have two qualifying tyres for three races, says he would be more than happy if it was ditched.
Talking about his qualifying sessions at Valencia, the two-times WSB Champion said: "As soon we put on qualifying tyres, everything seemed to change. Strangely enough, it felt as if there was more grip, but my actual lap times were slower! The bike was also harder to stop on qualifying tyres. If the organisers decide to not have qualifying tyres any more, I will be more happy."
