World Supersport rider Craig Jones, who was killed at Brands Hatch last season, has been honoured with a bench and memorial tree on the Greenbank Estate where he grew up.

Jones, who went to school and college in the area, was one of the rising stars of British racing and also one of the most popular figures in the paddock.

The local council has honoured Jones' memory because they want a lasting tribute to the racer and have something to inspire other youngsters in the area.
