Cresson and Pedercini part ways in WorldSBK

Loris Cresson has split with the TPR Pedercini Team just one round into the 2022 WorldSBK season.

The Belgium rider had a difficult season opener at Aragon after failing to break into the top 20 on any of the weekend’s three races, despite securing a best-placed 13th in his 2021 rookie season in the top flight. The 23-year-old will no longer compete in WorldSBK as part of the satellite Kawasaki outfit, with no information given on either his future plans or his replacement for this weekend’s action at Assen.

A statement on Wednesday read:

TPR Team Pedercini wishes Loris all the best for the future.
