Britain's best supersport riders will get the chance to go head-to-head with their World Supersport counterparts at Donington British Superbikes as both Craig Jones and Jonathan Rea will be lining up to race - and Rea is bringing team-mate Andrew Pitt with him.
As there is no WSS race at the Miller Motorsport Park WSB round, the Ten Kate and Parkalgar teams have decided to give their riders a run out in BSS and the lads are ready for the challenege.
“Its really good for me and Andrew to get the chance to test at Donington in the BSB round," said Rea ”For me the priority is to make the bike strong for our race there in a couple in September. We can get some good information about the set-up and be on the pace.
“It will be nice to race at home again in front of all my old fans and my old rivals. I’m really looking forward to it.”
For Jones, it will like racing at his home track, as Donington is only an hour away from his door. He said: "It would be good to race at Donington as it would be a relaxing event for me due to not having to travel for several days to get there. Plus I’d get to see and race against some old rivals. Let’s hope my hand improves so I can see you there."
