Xerox Ducati’s Troy Bayliss is keen to "tick one last thing on the page" at Donington Park this weekend by finally winning a race here.
The Aussie, who raced in British Superbikes with GSE in 1998 and 1999, has never stood on top of the podium at the Leicestershire track and is keen to rectify the situation.
"Can you believe I have never won here? I was here in 1998 and 1999 and I didn’t win at Donington, so I really want to tick the last thing on the page," said Bayliss, who qualified on provisional pole this afternoon.
"As the results show, there are several Donington specialists here, with the British wildcards all up there near the top, but I guess you could say that I did my "apprenticeship" here too so I’m hoping for a good weekend."
