Strong rumour in the Donington Park World Superbike suggests that Noriyuki Haga has done a deal to be Troy Bayliss's replacement at Xerox Ducati but has yet to sign on the dotted line.
And a Ducati insider said that until the Japanese star puts pen to paper, no other riders signing will happen. When Haga is confirmed at team, Yamaha will then be able to finalise a deal with Troy Corser, who was set to join BMW but Haga's defection could free up the money needed to keep Corser.
Ducati is expected to confirm the move "shortly".
