WSBK | RACEDAYS FIELD TWO NEW RIDERS AT DONINGTON

Racedays Honda will field two new riders at the Donington Park European Superstock round after parting with David Paton and Daniel Brill.

Current Metzeler National Superstock series leader Lee Johnston will join the squad and add Euro duties to his British commitments with the Trevor Pennell Yamaha team, while American rider Joshua Day comes over from the States.

Team boss Gerry Bryce said: "Lee has already tested with the team at Magny Cours where, despite unfavourable weather conditions, he impressed with his work rate and set- up abilities.

"Josh has recently been competing in selected rounds of the AMA championship and at only 18 years of age he has already shown his talent with a top 10 Formula Extreme finish at Daytona. He will be one of only two US riders competing in the World Superbike series."

The team, which recently acquired the backing of CCTV Direct, also has Jeremy McWilliams as sports manager.
