Airwaves Yamaha's James Ellison reckons his team could have a home advantage at this weekend's Donington Park World Superbike round as they already have data from racing there last month.
The rest of the World Superbike teams will come to the Leicestershire circuit with data from last year's wet pair of races, where Ellison finished fourth in one leg, and the Cumbrian took his debut BSB win at the track in May.
“Last week I actually forgot about going to Snetterton because I was looking forward to Donington Park so much. I scored my first ever BSB win there and it’d be awesome to add some strong World Superbike results to my record," said Ellison.
"We’re going to be competing against the best in the world and the racing should be really close. The Airwaves Yamaha team potentially has a big advantage in having raced at Donington Park in May. We’ll be there flying the flag for Britain and for the British Superbike Championship.”
