Fixi Suzuki's Leon Camier has identified developing his Motec electronics as the priority over coming weeks as the former British Superbike Champion is struggling with some of the slower parts of the track at Donington Park this weekend.
The Andorran resident managed to get himself into the third part of Superpole for the first time this year this afternoon but said he found a chunk of time with the electronics switched off. He is looking at making a small change to setup in morning warm up to aid the mechanical grip of his Fixi Suzuki tomorrow.
"We haven't had a lot of testing to develop the electronics so it's not easy. The bike is wheelying quite a bit and we are struggling out of Coppice and out of the Melbourne Loop but we're fast through the Esses and around the flowing parts of the track," said Camier, when bikesportnews.com interrupted his viewing of Britain's Got Talent.
"We're not sure yet which tyre to go with tomorrow. I did a long stint on a hard tyre and set some good and consistent lap times so if I can go with them tomorrow it should hold up until the end of the race. I had two big slides in the last part of Superpole which didn't help."
