Rivamoto Honda's Jack Kennedy claimed his best ever World Supersport result this weekend at Donington Park, but was still left feeling he could have done more, with arm-pump issues preventing him from pushing on during the race.
"It's my best result so far, I had a good battle and it wasn't a lonely race. I enjoyed it out there. It was hard to hold on at the end, the arm pump really got to me. It prevented me from having a go on the last lap, something I would have liked to do. A great weekend for us really though with a good qualifying, good result and a lot better than Monza," said the Dubliner, speaking to bikesportnews.com from the sun drenched circuit.
"It was a great job by the team, the Rivamoto Honda was working really well. I was trying to dig in and go when Kenan came past me, but at the same time I didn't want to destroy the rear tyre. I could feel the arm pump half way through the race getting worse and worse, so I knew if I pushed and tried to go mid-race it was really going to affect me at the end of the race. I was almost trying to preserve my arms as well as the tyres."
