Xerox Ducati have confirmed that Noriyuki Haga will be riding at the Brno World Superbike round at the end of this month after undergoing intensive physiotherapy.
The Japanese rider was involved in a horror crash at Donington Park which left him with a badly broken arm and injured shoulderblade. Scans also revealed a cracked vertebrae which turned out to be an old injury.
"Yesterday, they fitted him with a removable arm protector and he will rest his arm, and shoulder, for a few more days before starting some intense physio in order to be fit for Brno," said team spokesman Heather Watson, speaking to bikesportnews.com.
"He’s already got quite good movement back in his arm and the shoulder should heal itself over time. He won't be riding in Imola’s tests next week of course, but will be racing at Brno."
