Newly-crowned British Superbike Champion Alex Lowes has been testing for the Fixi Suzuki World Superbike squad at Jerez today after getting special dispensation from Honda to fly out to the Spanish circuit.

The Derby man, who looks set to switch to the team for 2014 and partner Leon Camier, had been on course to move to MotoGP with Paul Bird's squad but that now seems to have fallen by the wayside with a contract for Paul Denning's team now obviously in the offing.
