First pics: Camier rides the WSBK Crescent Suzuki in Portugal

Crescent Suzuki World Superbike new boy Leon Camier has completed a second day of testing on the GSX-R1000 at Portimao today after suffering with front brake problems all day yesterday which restricted him to just 20 laps on the bike.

Camier didn't get his brake problem, which is still something of a mystery which necessitated changing the Brembo system, sorted out until lunchtime today so was only able to put in solid amounts of work in the afternoon but is happy with what he achieved on the new bike.

"It's been good so far. We've got some niggles and gremlins to sort out but I feel comfortable on the bike. Frankie (crew chief Frankie Carchedi) and I are working with Motec electronics for the first time so we have been experimenting with different torque maps and stuff," said Camier, speaking to bikesportnews.com from the track this evening.

"We lost yesterday and some of today with a brake problem. I wasn't getting any feel and the brake was almost coming back to the lever but that's pretty-much sorted now and I managed to get some meaningful laps in but not many in a row. It's looking positive and it's a good place from which to start."
