Welshman Chaz Davies got the first taste of the factory Ducati Panigale he will race in next year's World Superbike Championship today at a Jerez test.

The former BMW man, who finished fifth in this year's championship, was out all day on the 1199R along with new team-mate Davide Giugliano.
