Spaniard Xavi Fores has announced he will leave the Puccetti Kawasaki WorldSBK team at the end of this year.

Fores returned to WorldSBK after a year in British Superbikes but the partnership with the satellite Kawasaki team has not returned the sort of performances either side were expecting.

“I would like to inform all of you that next season, I’ll not continue with Puccetti Racing in WorldSBK. It was a shame that this project couldn’t be as successful as we all expected,” said Fores.

“They were expecting more from me and me from the; I would like to thank all the crew for their efforts and wish them all the best for the future. My plans will be clearer in a couple of weeks. Let’s finish the season in the best possible way.”
