Rumours flying round the British Superbike paddock at Cadwell Park put Co-ordit Yamaha's Richard Cooper on Ruben Xaus' factory BMW S1000RR at the Nurburgring World Superbike round this weekend.
Cooper has strong links with the German manufacturer after racing the HP2 at the Bol D'or and finishing fifth at the famous Daytona 200 in March of last year.
He is also a test rider for the team and has showcased the S100RR World Superbike at various events around the globe, including giving Scottish fans their first glimpse of it at the Kncokhill BSB round.
Xaus is, apparently, still not in a position to race at the Nurburgring after suffering a broken right femur in a huge highside at Brno last time out in July.
More when we get it.
