The 2026 World Supersport rider line-up for GMT94 Yamaha was unveiled ahead of Round Ten of the 2025 season.
Ahead of the Aragon World Supersport Round, the GMT94 Yamaha squad announced their rider line-up for the 2026 season.
The French squad will field an unchanged rider line-up for next season, with Roberto Garcia and Lucas Mahias remaining in the GMT94 Yamaha garage.
Garcia joined GMT94 Yamaha midway through the 2025 season as he replaced Michael Ruben Rinaldi. Since entering the series, the 2024 European Moto2 Champion has had a best finish of fifth place.
For the third successive season, Mahias will remain with GMT94 Yamaha. Throughout 2025, the Frenchman has featured on four podiums and has a best finish of second place.
"Roberto has really impressed us since joining the GMT94 Yamaha team at Misano," Yamaha Motor Europe's Road Racing Sporting Manager, Niccolo Canepa, said.
"Showing speed straight away despite little experience with the R9 and some of the tracks we’ve raced at so far this year. He has been close to a podium on several occasions, and we are confident he will find himself in those top three positions before the end of the season.
"He has fitted into the team well, and with the speed and talent he has demonstrated, it made perfect sense to continue with him into 2026.
"This also means an unchanged line-up for GMT94, with Lucas Mahias remaining with the team for a third season, meaning the team as a whole can continue the positive work they’ve done with the R9 this season, building on this into 2026."
