Aprilia’s Sylvain Guintoli says he is willing to take every risk in order to stop reigning World Superbike Champion retaining his crown at magny-Cours this weekend.
The Frenchman is 31 points behind Kawasaki’s Sykes with 100 left on the table before season end and Guintoli needs to keep the deficit to less than 50 points before he leaves France on Sunday night.
“After the solid week end in Jerez, I can't wait to get back on track in Magny-Cours to try to close the Championship gap. It won't be easy but I still have a chance so I 'll take all risks and try my best to beat Tom. The French public support will be a big advantage and I have been training like an animal! I am ready,” he said.
