FHO’s Peter Hickman will join the works BMW WorldSBK team at Most after being invited to stand-in for ther crocked Michael van der Mark.

This will be Hickman’s second appearance for the BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team, having previously raced at Donington Park in 2019.

It is also a matter of days since his last outing in WorldSBK when Hickman appeared as a wildcard starter with at Donington Park last weekend.

BMW Motorrad factory rider Ilya Mikhalchik, who replaced van der Mark at the season-opener at Aragón and the recent events at Misano and Donington Park, is already preparing for the third race of this season’s FIM Endurance World Championship at Suzuka.
