Jake Dixon states that he is fully focused on winning the Moto2 title despite rumours linking him to World Superbikes.
Ahead of the Czech Republic Grand Prix, there were rumours that Jake Dixon could be on his way to World Superbikes for the 2026 season.
The British rider has been linked with Team HRC for next season, but also has the option to remain in Moto2 with the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team.
Dixon spoke about his future and avoided the mention of World Superbikes, but insists that his full focus is on attempting to win the Moto2 World Championship.
"Right now, I am fully focussed on what I have to do," Dixon told TNT Sports.
"The team have employed me to come and win a Championship for them. There is still every possibility that I can, yes, it has been made a little bit more difficult with the struggles we have had lately.
"But I feel that we are in good form now and can claw back points this weekend and going forward, that is my main focus.
"Who knows what the future brings."
Dixon went on to state that he believes that he and Marc VDS are in a position to fight for the Moto2 title.
"I genuinely believe now we are in a position where I can fight," he added.
"There would be nothing more pleasing than for me to give them another Championship. So, I will try everything possible, and I know it will be difficult.
"But, I genuinely believe I am the man for the job. I have always backed myself.
"Sometimes things are good, and sometimes they are not so good. But that is just life and we take it when it comes."
However, at the Czech Republic Grand Prix, Dixon had a difficult weekend as he finished in 11th place and lost ground in the Championship standings.
