'I'd like a normal weekend. Like 2009 normal' - Camier

After another weird World Superbike weekend at Misano, Alitalia Aprilia's Leon Camier is desperate to bring some normality to his life. And he'd like that normality to resemble his BSB title-winning year of 2009 where he was untouchable on the Airwaves Yamaha.

Camier won 19 races under the tutelage of Colin Wright. More by design than luck, it didn't go wrong very often for the team and now Camier, who couldn't stay upright at the Italian track last weekend, says he could do with just one of those again.

"I dunno what was going on in the wet at that track. There was zero grip and I can't tell you how slow I was going and I still crashed. I had zero mph, zero lean angle and bang, straight down. It meant to be slippery in the rain there but that's a lot of riders down in one lap," said Camier, speaking to bikesportnews.com this morning.

"Then my setup was changed for race two in an effort to make it better but it didn't. I've got no idea why I crashed into turn one, nor has Marco, in fact I had less lean angle than normal. Normal. A normal weekend, like 2009. That would be nice…"
