Eugene Laverty is happy with his first day aboard the customer Ducati Panigale V4 on which he will challenge for the 2019 WorldSBK crown, saying it was a useful first installation.
Laverty ended his debut on the Go Eleven bike three seconds off Alex Lowes' sheet-topping pace and said he plans to push for more performance at the Jerez test tomorrow.
It's been a day for installation, for me to understand the bike and to get comfortable, and also for the Go Eleven team to understand this new Ducati," said Laverty, speaking at the track.
"We made not so many laps, the plan was to do 30-35 and that's what we did. I am happy with the work and the plan for tomorrow is to push for performance."
