Reigning champion Jonathan Rea has been voted the BSN World Superbike Rider of the Year with a landslide victory over the rest of the WSBK pack.

The factory Kawasaki man, who ran away with this year’s series, bagged a whopping 65.66 per cent (and you really couldn’t make those numbers up, Tom) with Ducati’s Chaz Davies taking second place with 20.18 per cent.

Dutch wunderkind Michael Van Der Mark occupied third place with 3.31 per cent, Alex Lowes was fourth with 3.16 per cent and Jordi Torres took fifth with 2.71 per cent.
