Double World Champion Jonathan Rea has been voted the bikesportnews.com WorldSBK rider of the year by site readers, winning by a landslide.
The works Kawasaki man took almost half the votes polled, clocking in 47.56 per cent to beat second-placed man Chaz Davies, who took 28.67 per cent. Hair-bands off to Leon Camier whose courageous peddaling of the MV Agusta brought him into third place with 15.19 per cent of the vote.
Rea’s team-mate Tom Sykes took fourth place with 3.04 per cent with Nicky Hayden fifth, bagging 2.25 per cent of the vote.
