Youngster Josh Daley emerged victorious in the race to grab the Motovudu/BSN KTM European Junior Cup wildcard at this weekend's Silverstone World Superbike round.
Organised by GP legend Simon Crafar, Daley fought off stiff competition from young riders from across the United Kingdom to get the slot and will take to the grid on Friday despite suffering a hefty fall at the Thundersport Rockingham round last weekend.
"It was a bit of a bad crash and I am a bit battered but this opportunity is once in a lifetime and I can't wait for it. To get the call from Simon Crafar was special and I am over the moon with the whole thing," said Daley.
The Silverstone wildcard is just one of a series organised by Crafar and his Motovudu team, which is backed by SRJ, Close Brother Asset Finance and wipersupply.com.
