Former Moto2 star and World Supersport challenger Randy Krummenacher will step up to the World Superbike class with his current Puccetti Kawasaki squad in 2017, putting the future of Davide Giugliano once again in doubt.
Giugliano was right at the top of the team’s list for next season but negotiations have stalled around salary, so Krummenacher has got the seat for next season which will be his and the squad’s first in the premier class.
“I’m extremely happy we’ve found an agreement with my team for the 2017 season. This year a great feeling has developed between me and my Team, a feeling that have resulted in some big results in WorldSSP. We’ve decided that we can do a great job also in Superbike. Thanks to all my sponsors and everyone who believed in me since the beginning,” said the Swiss rider.
