Voltcom Suzuki’s Eugene Laverty will have a new engine, updated electronics and an FTR swingarm to test when his team rolls into Jerez for three days of testing on Monday.
The Irishman, who stood on top of the Phillip Island podium in race one a month ago, will also have new clutches to evaluate in order to improve on his starts.
"It's been more than a month since Round One and I'm itching to get riding again. We have some important test items in place for Jerez, so I'm praying for dry weather,” said Laverty.
“Three days on track may sound like hard work, but I relish the opportunity to test and improve. My Voltcom Crescent Suzuki team have continued to work relentlessly during the break as we plan to continue our forward momentum."
