The nail-biting wait to decide the WorldSBK title continues after Saturday’s race action was cancelled in Indonesia.
Monsoon conditions delayed the afternoon race as the rains fell just as the grid lined up, with organisers cancelling the running one hour later due to zero visibility as the weather continued.
Sunday’s revised schedule will see the morning Superpole sprint race replaced by the postponed race one battle, with both WorldSSP and WorldSBK’s second afternoon races set to run as planned.
The revised weekend plays into the hands of Toprak Razgatlioglu and Pata Yamaha, with the Championship leader 30 points ahead of Kawasaki challenger and defending champion Jonathan Rea, with 50 points left on the table. Razgatlioglu will start from pole in both races.
