Kawasaki's Alex Lowes will not take part in the upcoming Portimao test as he has to still fully recover from a flat-track crash.
Lowes described the incident as a 'nothing crash' at the time but is yet to be in position to ride the new ZX-10RR.
“I am working hard on my recovery with the doctors in Barcelona. I want to see all the guys from the team and join them at the track as soon as possible. Of course, I cannot wait to ride my new Ninja ZX-10RR again," said Lowes.
It's unsure whether Lowes will re-join team-mate Jonathan Rea at Jerez later in the month or wait until the official test at Barcelona.
