A huge crowd today lined the streets in the sleepy Cambridgeshire village of Fotheringhay to pay their final respects to World Supersport rider Craig Jones, who died two weeks ago.
Friends, family, racers and members of public all turned out to say their final farewells to the 23-year-old rider. Tributes were led by former 500GP rider Keith Huewen and Craig's manager Steve Chick.
Doris Valentine, wife of Jack who ran the Valmoto Triumph team for which Craig rode, also read a poem which was written by Craig's sister Cassie.
Among those in attendance were best friend Tommy Hill, former World Superbike Champions Carl Fogarty and Troy Corser, plus a whole host of BSB stars including Shane Byrne, Leon Haslam, Tom Sykes, Scott Smart, Simon Andrews and Cal Crutchlow.
