Alitalia Aprilia's Leon Camier is expecting a tough time at this weekend's Miller Motorsport Park World Superbike round and hopes some good look will replace the bad he has experienced of late.
A host of mechanical problems have blighted his season, and testing, so far and the lanky Kent youngster wants to to turn it around with some big points but he says the Miller track is such that pretty much anyone is in with a winning chance.
“It's going to a tough weekend I'm sure, but I'm really looking forward to Miller. The start of the season has thrown a lot of bad luck at us and I'm sure some good luck has to come our way soon," said Camier.
"Following the race weekend at Monza we had a two day test at Misano, and ok we didn't do too many laps, but I think we made a positive step with the chassis. The field is really strong, it'll be hard to know who exactly will come out on top. Checa was really strong here last year and is obviously on top form this season, then there's Max, both BMWs and both Yamahas, so it should be really interesting.”
