BMW Italia's James Toseland will miss both this weekend's Misano World Superbike round and the subsequent race at Motorland Aragon as his wrist injury was further stressed at Miller Motorsport Park.
Toseland has struggled since he broke the wrist in testing and was suffering when he boarded the plane to fly to Misano. An MRI after the Miller round showed that the wrist is not strong enough to withstand the pressures of a full Superbike race.
He will be replaced by former works Ducati rider Lorenzo Lanzi for both races.
More when we get it.
