Brit Fraser Rogers is not taking part in today’s proceedings in the World Supersport class in Misano, having parted company with his ComPlus SMS Racing team.
On his Facebook site he states that the reasons were due to financial problems, but hasn’t ruled out returning to the series and it looking for another ride. In the meantime Frenchman Valentin Debise is riding on his bike for this weekend in Italy.
"This decision has been influenced by financial complications within the team, coupled with my personal difficulties in raising the amount of money asked for within the given time,” said Rogers.
“It's a great shame as we'd just started making progress, ironing out some of the issues we experienced with the bike. I will be in Misano this weekend - Nothing confirmed as of yet but we'll see.
“Hopefully I will secure something for the remainder of the season. I'd like to thank Complus SMS Racing for the opportunity and wish the team every success for the future.”
