Factory Aprilia RSV4 World Superbike rider Shinya Nakano has been putting his racebike through some final aerodynamic adjustments during a test session in a windtunnel.
The former MotoGP star spent the day testing the effectiveness of the four-cylinder bike's bodywork and to make sure there is as little wind buffeting as possible.
"It was a very positive and interesting and I was impressed by the ability of the technicians and efficient structure of the University of Perugia," said the Japanese.
"We conducted several tests on my riding position, making the last little adjustments to obtain the best possible aerodynamics. The data that we collected will be used by our engineers to bring new solutions during the course of the season.
"I have to say that in terms of aerodynamics, the RSV4 is already very good and we don't need to change anything now. I can not wait to go back on the track in the next test at Phillip Island."
